The company Rice Mills Of Thessaloniki was founded by George S.Tzaferis in 1979. At first the head office of the company was located in Ladadika at the west entrance of Thessaloniki and the Milling facility in the village of Sindos which is located in the edge of the fertile plains of central Macedonia. Until now the company remains a family owned business with the son of the founder George S.Tzaferis, Sotirios G. Tzaferis as the general manager.
Initially the objective of the company was the milling of Greek white and parboiled rice. In 1983 the company expanded its business into the field of durum Wheat and Legumes, selecting only the highest quality crops from around the world.
In addition to the Greek market our company exports Greek Rice in the Balkans, Cyprus, Russia, EU, Turkey and North Africa.
